At Impact, we believe every athlete is unique and deserves a chance to become a sponsored athlete.
We are blown away by how many requests for sponsorships we receive each week.
When we read your submission, we really want to know what sets you above and beyond every other athlete who is seeking sponsorship.
That’s why after reviewing so many submissions, we thought we could give you some tips on how to stand out.
Prior To Seeking Sponsorship Like/Follow Company On All Social Channels
Yes - Companies do check to make sure that you have Liked/Followed them on all social channels.
It lets the company know that you have a sincere interest in them.
If you have not followed/liked company they will likely dismiss your submission.
We get it, you’ve won Fights/Games/Matches.
Tell us about that but don’t make that the only thing you say.
We get countless submissions from athletes that write one sentence, and it’s about how many fights/games/matches they’ve won.
That alone won’t win you a sponsorship.
A better strategy is to tell us about how you are going to work hard to promote our brand.
Tell us about the other sponsors you've had along the way and why they stick with you.
In short - tell us more about you than just your win/loss record.
Promise To Post
We sponsor many athletes, but often find they do not hold up their end of the bargain.
This is a relationship based upon the honor system.
We want to work with athletes that love our mouthguards and will build a relationship with us.
We want to see pictures of them smiling, training, playing, and winning in their Impact Mouthguard.
We're happy you have other sponsors but we don't want to always be listed on posts with the others.
Make sure you treat your sponsors right by posting for each individually.
Make your sponsors feel special and they will continue to support you with gear and maybe even cash.
Followers Matter
Yes, we do look at how many followers you have.
While we don’t have a minimum on how many followers you need, we do tend to prefer athletes with an audience.
Understand, this doesn’t mean if you have 250 followers you’ll never be chosen.

We actually read your submissions, so take the time to write a paragraph about yourself, and why we should sponsor you.
Tell us about your motives for becoming an athlete, some stories about yourself, and whatever else helps us get to know you.

My name is Heather Smith, I am the mother of 8 year old Theodore Smith IV also known as The Gilded Owl. Theodore has been doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu for 14 months and has grown Into a big passion and dream of his to go all the way in the competition world. Theodore has competed in 13 tournaments and has won 30 medals !! Theodore wants to push himself farther and has his eyes on Pan Kids 2022. He trains 7 days a week for 3 hours a day and sometimes longer when we’re on a roll ! I turned our home 2 car garage into a jiu-jitsu gym so he can be on the mat whenever he wants. Hello Sir I have 21 fights and 21 wins some of them are knock out I am 14 years old I am from Greece.Unfortunately here in Greece there aren’t many opportunities to make a career also I don’t have any opponents and the last 10 fights was with an older opponent and difference on weight.I work very hard.In quarantine I was always running every day 16km and then back to the house (abs,push ups…)these days we are again in lockdown so I do the same program and some pads.I weigh 51,5kg.To sum up I want the opportunity this step that,will open me new doors and reach the top together.

First of all I want to say thank you for such amazing products you guys sell, impact mouthguards are the best ones I’ve ever tried and I plan to stick with for my whole MMA/Taekwondo journey. I would love to work with you guys, and being a representative of impact mouthguards would be a really big honor for me. I have trained MMA and Taekwondo for 5 years. I won the Taekwondo state championship in 2018. I broke my collarbone in three parts last year which prevented me from going to the state and national championship. I was very disappointed back then. But I now see it as a challenge for 2021, a challenge to overcome myself and do my best. Unfortunately, I couldn’t compete in 2020 because of COVID-19. Hoping that COVID-19 goes away in 2021, then 2021 will be my year,I will work and train as hard as I am training now and I will 100% be a champion again, I am more confident than ever that I will be a champion. I would love to impact mouthguards to be part of my journey. I love challenges, and I am also a man of my word. I am an amature heavyweight boxer fighting out of Arkansas, with an outside footwork centered style that has been compared to the likes of champions like Tyson Fury and Muhammad Ali. I dont have any official fights under my belt yet but I have been training the past 5 years, working with pros and doing alot of competitive sparring. I have an upcoming bout in Streetbeefs which will surely generate hundreds if not thousands of views, and I expect to put on an outstanding performance. My name is Eli Broussard I’m looking to be the next great multi sport athlete, I am a military child who moves around often. Now we currently in San Antonio Texas! Since the age of three I have been involved in AMA motocross which lead to me experiencing a broken femur. Since then I have heavily searched for something a little less injury prone and luckily I have already been in Brazilian jujitsu as an active competitor in IBBJF since the age of four. Being in San Antonio, Texas I look forward to the training opportunities this gives me in not only BJJ but also sports like Muay Thai, boxing and hopefully some wrestling. I also should add I love playing hockey, lacrosse, and I am an avid cyclist. I have been playing hockey since 3, recently been going to lacrosse camps and As soon as I could walk I have been on both a bicycle and dirt bike. I feel like my Physical presence in multiple different sports Is a great asset to the brand and an easy transition for me as I have already been utilizing impact mouth guards. My name is Dustin, I am a 32 year old BJJ fighter. First thing I want to say it, this is not a pity story. This is a hope to inspire story. Everyone on here has won some, everyone on here has lost some, that story for me is no different. But my story in itself is different. When I was born I weight 1lb 9oz, I was one of the most premature babies in the US and the world to survive pre-1988, so you can say I have been a fighter since day one. I was O2 dependent until I was 3, due to BPD, and if you don’t know what it is you can look it up, cause I damn sure do not know how to spell it. When I was 5 I was diagnosed with Legg Calve Perthese disease, a disease only 1% of the world has, but I had it in both hips, which 10% of that 1% get. So my fight continued. I did martials arts and wrestling when I wasn’t layed up in a hospital bed or confined to a wheelchair, and it is there where I found my solace. With 1 full functioning lung and bad hips, I pushed through, making practices, studying the arts, improving myself daily. I will never claim to be the best, nor will I ever be, but you would be hard pressed to find someone with more heart than I have. I want to inspire people, I want to be a face for inspiration and never giving up. I train 4 to 5 times a week, in pain, when I can barely lift my leg to get my shoe on, I train. I put on my gi, I put on my belt and I just forget about everything else. I severed an artery at work a few years back, put me out for awhile, but I never stopped studying or coaching. I coached wrestling teams and kids BJJ. I would be more than appreciative to where your gear proudly, not just on the mat, but off the mats as well, being a inspirational and honorable face for your merchandise.
